One
of the greatest strengths associated with web sites is the
ability to change them at a moment’s notice. Unlike
traditional media, the content of a web site is never completely
finalized. And, as older information becomes outdated and
new information becomes available, web sites can be modified
without resorting to complete redesigns, new print runs,
etc.
Webline Designs offers
a wide range of maintenance options. For those clients who
prefer to maintain their sites themselves, we offer Content
Management solutions ranging from pre-packaged applications,
to Custom Web Applications. In some cases, these features
are bundled with other services, such as our E-commerce packages. In other cases, these services are available as
stand-alone products.
For those clients that do not want or need the ability to
maintain their sites themselves, Webline provides maintenance
services for an hourly fee. Since each and every site we
work on is unique, maintenance plans vary from customer
to customer. Some of our clients publish newsletters that
must be updated monthly, others have catalogs which are
updated seasonally, and still others have forums which must
be watched on a continual basis.
All maintenance requests are handled internally by professional
graphic designers and web developers. Whenever possible, we
assign the original designer to the project guaranteeing
a consistent look and flow. However, our developers pride
themselves on being able to work seamlessly with third party
designs. As a result, we maintain many sites developed by
companies other than Webline.
Work is generally handled on a first in, first out basis.
Changes are normally published within 2 days of receipt.
And, rush services are available. Maintenance work is billed
on an hourly basis with estimates available upon request.
